Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply in respect of bookings made with BookTrysilonline AS NO-2420 Trysil, tel: +47 33 33 83 83, business reg. no.: 997616774. These general terms and conditions apply as between bookTrysilonline AS (the “Lessor”) and any person responsible for the rental of an accommodation unit at bookTrysilonline and his party (the “Lessee”).
This contract applies to rentals of accommodation units and to supplementary products associated with bookings made for staysduring 2019-2021.

LESSOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lessor has the following responsibilities towards the guest:
The Lessor assumes no responsibility or liability for any printing or proofing errors in its brochures, price lists or website.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSEE
Booking
The Lessee is responsible for checking the booking and for ensuring that the arrival and departure dates are correct.
Age restrictions
The Lessee must be over 20 years of age and must accept responsibility for the accommodation unit during the stay. Over the New Year and Easter and during the final weekend of the season, all guests staying in the accommodation unit must be aged 20 or over, and the responsible at the accommodation unit must be aged 23 or over.
Subject to the prior agreement of the Lessor, exceptions may be made from the above rules for organised groups and families.
All guests must produce satisfactory photo ID and register at reception on check-in.
It is a mandatory requirement that all guests must be over the applicable age limit. Any guest who fails to satisfy the minimum age requirement on the arrival date will be turned away and will not be permitted to check in. Any rental sum paid in respect of the booking will not be refunded.
Arrival/during your visit
There must be quiet in and around the accommodation units between the hours of 11pm and 7am. Guests who fail to moderate their behaviour following a warning will be evicted immediately. No rent will be refunded.
Departure
Booked or compulsory cleaning does not cover the basic cleaning requirements. Where guests fail to carry out basic cleaning, workrequired to rectify this will be invoiced at an hourly rate.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
The terms and conditions of the reservation and contract are confirmed by the payment of the rental amount on the same day. Cancellation must be notified by email. Guests can cancel with a full refund within 30 days after the booking is made, unless it is less than 60 days until arrival. The amount is paid and possibly refunded in Norwegian Kroner. (There may be a difference in exchange rates)
The reservation can be cancelled if the final payment is not received by the landlord by the due date of the reminder. Cancellation must be done by email, booking@booktrysilonline.com.
BANK CHARGES
Any Lessee remitting payment from abroad shall pay all charges levied by both his own and the Norwegian bank. The Lessee must ensure that the Lessor receives the contractual price indicated in the booking confirmation in NOK.
CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT INSURANCE
Cancellation and amendment insurance may be taken out when making the booking. This insurance will only be valid if the premium has been paid together with the initial deposit. The insurance covers both cancellation of and/or amendments to the booking.
Conditions for cancellation and amendment insurance:
If the Lessee cancels the booking more than 60 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded less an administration charge of NOK 250 per accommodation unit. If the Lessee cancels the booking fewer than 42 days before arrival, the Lessor will retain the whole deposit unless the insurance conditions are fulfilled. The insurance covers circumstances where the Lessee and/or his/her spouse/child(ren)/sibling(s)/parents or live-in partner are affected by illness, a serious accident or death. A medical certificate must be forwarded to the Lessor without delay.
If the above conditions are satisfied, the whole amount paid will be refunded, subject to deduction of an administration charge. The insurance premium will not be refunded.
The Lessee may amend his booking, including changes to the rental period and the type of accommodation unit, provided the amendment is made more than 30 days before arrival. If a Lessee books a more expensive accommodation unit, the Lessee must pay the difference in price. Any amendment to a booking is conditional on availability.

If the Lessee has not taken out insurance, the Lessor will retain the whole deposit. An administration charge will apply if a Lessee who has not taken out insurance wishes to change his booking.
PRICES
The contractual prices are binding on both the Lessor and the Lessee. The Lessor nevertheless reserves the right to increase its prices to take account of increased costs resulting from increased taxes or duties or other circumstances beyond the Lessor’s control.
DISCLAIMER
The Lessor is not liable for unsatisfactory snow conditions, closed facilities or other circumstances outside its control.
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints regarding the booking must be presented to the Lessor at the resort within a reasonable time and in any event no later than 10am on the morning following arrival so that the defect/error can be rectified immediately and with the least possible inconvenience for the guest. Failure to make a complaint will normally result in loss of the right subsequently to claim compensation.
DEPOSIT
The Lessor reserves the rate to take a deposit on check-in according to the following rates: NOK 500,- pr persons. The deposit will be held to cover damage caused by vandalism etc.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES
Earliest check-in is 17:00:00 and latest check-out is 11:00:00 for all our accommodation units. Delayed check-out will be charged at a rate of NOK 500 per hour or part thereof. Early check-in and late check-out are available at some of our units as rental extras. Early check-in and late check-out times are both 2pm. Keys should be collected from and returned to reception.
DISPUTES
The Lessee is requested to contact the Lessor if he has any complaints about the stay booked with us. If the Lessee and Lessor are unable to reach agreement, any dispute shall be dealt with in accordance with Norwegian law. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the venue shall be the judicial district where the company’s property is situated.
FORCE MAJEURE
Events beyond the control of the parties to the contract (e.g., strike, fire, natural disasters), which render the fulfilment of the obligations in this contract impossible, entitle the parties to terminate this contract without any liability to pay compensation.
DATA PROTECTION
By confirming the booking, the guest consents to the processing of his/her personal data by the Lessor. This is necessary to enable the Lessor to contact the Lessee in connection with the booking and to carry out other guest-related administration. This information can also be used to inform the Lessee of travel-related offers and guest surveys.
OTHER
Unless stated otherwise, the price of the accommodation unit does not include: firewood, toilet paper, bedding, towels, high chairs or cots. Rental extras can be reserved in advance at www.booktrysilonline.com
There is wireless network in the area around Trysil Turistsenter and Trysil Høyfjellssenteret (The Cloud). bookTrysilonline is not a supplier nor responsible for this network.
